Island Harmony Choir

The Island Harmony Choir has been providing an outlet for singers on Phillip Island and surrounds since 2004.

We primarily sing for enjoyment and occasional performances at local venues such as aged care facilities, community groups, end of year concert and Christmas carols. There are also the proven benefits of improved brain functioning and general well-being that come from singing in a group.

Our songs cover a broad range - from sacred music to popular songs, old standards and show tunes opera choruses and musical theatre - with Cecily Woodberry as our Musical Director.

The choir has soprano, alto, tenor and bass sections. You may know which section suits your voice or, if unsure, ask our conductor for assistance in deciding where you best fit. Whilst we have experienced choristers in the group, some members do not read music, so learning by ear is common.

There is an annual membership fee plus a small weekly voluntary donation to cover the costs of running the choir. However you are welcome to attend a few rehearsals before joining to see if it is for you. No audition is required.

So, if you like the idea of singing with a choir contact us by Email or phone.
